At NEILS, we take great pride in our contract with Veteran’s Home Care. Through this contract, our team provides home care services to qualifying veterans or their surviving spouses. We are committed to serving those who have served our nation, and we understand the unique needs and challenges faced by veterans.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIRMENTS
To be eligible for our home care services, the VA requires veterans to have served a minimum of 90 days of active duty, with at least one day during wartime, and received an honorable discharge. Additionally, there must be a medical need for the services provided. Our goal is to ensure that those who have selflessly dedicated their lives to the service of our country get the support and care they deserve in the comfort of their own homes.
One remarkable aspect of the NEILS program is that home care can begin as soon as the first week of the month following application submission. We understand that waiting for the approval process can be challenging, especially when immediate care is needed. That’s why we allow you to pay for home care services with no out-of-pocket costs even before your application is officially approved. This ensures that you receive the care you need, when you need it, without financial burden.
VA HOME SERVICES
Our range of services is designed to address the diverse needs of our veteran community. From bathing and dressing assistance to meal preparation and transportation, our caregivers are trained to provide the highest level of care. We also offer light housekeeping, laundry, and assistance with transferring and medication reminders. Beyond meeting the basic daily needs, our caregivers provide companionship to combat feelings of isolation and loneliness, something many veterans often experience.
In addition to providing essential day-to-day care, we also offer respite care for caregivers and assistance in accessing other community resources that can improve the quality of life for veterans. We believe that by working together with our veteran community, we can make a positive impact on their overall well-being.
NEILS is proud to be funded by Veteran’s Administration benefits so eligible veterans can access our home care services at no out-of-pocket cost to them. We understand the sacrifices made by our veterans, and it is our privilege to provide the quality care and companionship they highly deserve.

We serve the counties of Marion, Monroe, and Ralls in Missouri. If you reside outside these areas, we encourage you to contact us, as we have plans to expand our services into other outlying counties. It is our mission to ensure that no veteran is left without the support and care they need.
